I noticed this stuttering last week. The bike has a rough idle and isn't as smooth as it was when I'm on the power. I know it can be a number of things, but which ones do I start checking first?
@zizzorman yeah that's sucks, but usually a problem like that is caused by a bad fuel/air mixture.
The first things to check are the easiest to fix, which are your air filter and your gas.
you need to pull the air filter and see if it's dirty or clogged. Then, check if you have any old gas in the tank.
If the gas has been sitting for a while, it can lose its octane and cause the engine to run rough. Start there before you get into anything more complicated
Hey @zizzorman, start with the basics like @MonkeyLove said. Air filter and gas first. Rough idle often comes from something simple before it’s the bigger stuff.
