2006 Zongshen 250GS

I've had my 2006 Zongshen 250GS for years now, and honestly, it's still running strong. The only issue I've ever had with it was replacing the battery once., so I am just curious, does Zongshen still make the 250GS? It's been such a great bike.

As far as I know, Zongshen's moved on to newer models and doesn't produce the 250GS anymore. But parts are still around, and that engine's known to be super durable.

Its been discontinued for about 20 years i think, but there are still people who are praising it. I had one back in the day and the current owner is still driving it around with god knows how many miles on it. With regular maintenance, it will probably outlive all of us.

My uncle just offered me his old Zongshen 250GS and said it's been awesome for him too. I've been trying to look up if they still make it, but info's kinda scattered. I saw something about a ZS250GS-2A model still being listed in China. anyone here knows if that's the same bike or just a newer version?

It's a newer version, a modern one but with a slightly different purpose. Upgraded engine, I think it's fuel injected but don't quote me on that, upgraded frame, suspension, electronics. If it's available in China you might get it imported here, but I'm not sure how much that's going to be worth it.

Hey @Big bully, sounds like that bike’s been a tank over the years. The ZS250GS-2A is more of a modern update than the original, but the spirit’s the same. Anyone thinking about importing it should check specs and cost carefully.
