My cousin just picked up a 2021 Zongshen GS250, and he's running into a snag.

I did a quick check, it seems like the carburetor valve settings might be off because the bike dies when I apply gas. I've already taken the carb apart and cleaned it, but no luck.

Does anyone happen to have a service manual with info on the carburetor settings for this bike? That would be a huge help!

Also, we're all ears for any tips or mod ideas you guys might have for the GS250!

It could be the pilot screw or the float level messing with the fuel mix, I don't have the full service manual PDF, but you might find a copy floating around somewhere else except someone else can help you out

I ran into a similar issue on a small Chinese 250cc bike a while back. Even after cleaning the carb, it kept dying when I blipped the throttle. I realized the pilot screw was slightly out of spec...once I adjusted it according to the service manual, the throttle response smoothed out completely, it made a huge difference in reliability
